My clients tell me it’s overwhelming. Writing blog posts, Twitter tweets, Facebook Walls, LinkedIn connections and Videos. Where do they begin? And how do I help them get the most from their time, energy and money? And if they spend time doing all these things, where is the time to do the work they really love, and which I’ve told them the “social networking” will help them do? And in this economy, many of them need to do the work themselves. Good Questions, my friends!

Blogs
If you were to pick on place to begin, I’d say begin by writing your blog posts. This is who you are. You write about what you know, what you think and most important, this is the place for people to get to know you. Share yourself. Share good information. Make it interesting. Make it funny – or serious if that’s your intent. But write. And write and write. Add pictures to your posts, add links, and keep writing. Not too much that people go away, but enough to keep them coming back.
